We are seeking a seasoned Technical Recruiter with a proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, global environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle for technical contract and freelance roles. You will partner with hiring managers to understand their unique needs, build robust talent pipelines, and source exceptional candidates in various international markets outside of the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for technical contract and freelance positions, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier technical talent from various international markets, with a focus on Europe, North America, and other key regions.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of pre-vetted freelance and contract candidates for recurring and anticipated technical needs.
- Conduct thorough screenings and interviews to assess candidate suitability, technical skills, and cultural fit.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, create compelling job descriptions, and establish effective interview processes.
- Manage contract negotiations, including day rates, payment terms, and project scope, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Utilise data and market insights to inform recruitment strategies and advise the business on talent trends in different geographical locations.
- Champion an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through to onboarding.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter within an agency or in-house environment.
- Demonstrable track record of successfully sourcing and placing candidates in markets outside of the United Kingdom.
- Extensive experience with contract and/or freelance recruitment, including an understanding of rate negotiation and compliance.
- Solid understanding of the technology landscape, including software development languages, frameworks, cloud technologies, and infrastructure.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency with modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
