Integrated Strategy Director / 4 days a week on-site / Contract
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Integrated Strategy Director to lead the development of innovative, commercially driven TTL marketing strategies . This role requires deep expertise in commerce, the alcohol/FMCG category . Understanding the complexities of on-trade vs. off-trade and translating those insights into effective eCommerce solutions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic provocateur, adept at solving global-to-local market challenges and refining ways of working across diverse landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
Shape and execute commerce-driven marketing strategies tailored to category and channel-specific challenges.
Navigate global-to-local market complexities (e.g. Dark and Light markets, varied drinking cultures) to enhance business performance.
Think holistically across the entire purchase journey, collapsing funnels and extracting key tension points to activate within marketing.
Lead strategic initiatives that bridge global brand objectives with local market execution.
Work closely with inter-agency teams to ensure seamless collaboration and strategic alignment.
Stay ahead of AI advancements and integrate technology-driven solutions into commerce strategies.
Identify and unlock roadblocks, providing clear direction and course correction within teams.
Key Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience in commerce, TTL, category management, and channel strategy.
Strong understanding of the nuances between on-trade and off-trade, and how they translate into eCommerce.
Proven ability to refine market positioning, unlock growth opportunities, and enhance ways of working.
Experience working on global brands and managing multi-agency collaborations.
AI literacy—a strong plus for leveraging emerging technologies.
A deep understanding of pop culture and its influence on consumer behaviours.
Ability to challenge conventions, ask tough questions, and shape tighter, more effective briefs.
