The Activation Manager plays a pivotal role, ensuring excellence in campaign activation by managing the operations of a specific segment of agency activities.

This position requires close collaboration with the Activation Associate Director to meet business objectives and improve best practices.

The manager oversees a team of both onshore and offshore activation specialists to deliver on clients' expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Manages the entire lifecycle of campaign management for a portfolio of clients.
  • Approves and launches campaigns, drives testing strategies, and provides strategic input for optimising outcomes.
  • Engages in strategic planning and technical forecasting, with a focus on fulfilling client briefs and aiding in monetisation strategies.
  • Acts as the primary liaison between various internal teams and ensures effective communication of campaign insights.
  • Troubleshoots technical issues, facilitates complex problem resolution, and ensures accurate financial reporting.

Role requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in Advertising Operations, Programmatic Trading, or Campaign Management.
  • Familiarity with multiple DSPs, and exposure to SSPs is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of online advertising, ad targeting, and optimisation metrics.
  • Organised, with excellent time-management skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach.
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships and communicate effectively across various levels of expertise.
