Our client is urgently seeking a dedicated Management Accountant for an immediate backfill of a global role. The successful candidate will provide essential support for global billing and administration while operating within a SOX-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage global billing and comprehensive administration tasks.
- Execute duties with a strong understanding of revenue recognition.
- Ensure all financial and reporting work meets the requirements of a SOX basis.
- Utilize Excel extensively to complete core daily work.
- Collaborate on-site two days a week to stay aligned with the team and up-to-date on upcoming business challenges.
- Complete and submit timesheets on the designated platform for approval by the hiring manager.
- The preferred candidate should have good knowledge of accounting / finance (qualifications and a good bonus).
- A firm grasp of revenue recognition principles.
- Experience with or an understanding of SOX compliance requirements.
- High proficiency in Excel. (Note: Instead of a formal test, Excel skills and practical usage will be assessed through direct questioning during the interview).
- A strong mentality and a genuine "hunger to succeed".
- Readiness to "get stuck in straight away".
The initial sign-off is for 3 months on the system, however likely to be extended or made into a permanent position if the right fit. The role requires the individual to be on-site two days a week.
