The Activation Manager plays a pivotal role, ensuring excellence in campaign activation by managing the operations of a specific segment of agency activities. This position requires close collaboration with the Activation Associate Director to meet business objectives and improve best practices. The manager oversees a team of both onshore and offshore activation specialists to deliver on clients' expectations.
Key responsibilities:
- Manages the entire lifecycle of campaign management for a portfolio of clients.
- Approves and launches campaigns, drives testing strategies, and provides strategic input for optimising outcomes.
- Engages in strategic planning and technical forecasting, with a focus on fulfilling client briefs and aiding in monetisation strategies.
- Acts as the primary liaison between various internal teams and ensures effective communication of campaign insights.
- Troubleshoots technical issues, facilitates complex problem resolution, and ensures accurate financial reporting.
Role requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in Advertising Operations, Programmatic Trading, or Campaign Management.
- Familiarity with multiple DSPs, and exposure to SSPs is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of online advertising, ad targeting, and optimisation metrics.
- Organised, with excellent time-management skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach.
- Ability to establish strong working relationships and communicate effectively across various levels of expertise.
