Our client has a requirement for a seasoned Change Manager, who can operate within an unstructured environment to deliver and embed change with influence, not authority. The individual will be required to work across a multi-market environment, focussed on successfully landing and embedding regulatory changes across all levels of the staff population.
Stakeholder management will play a key part of the role so proficiency here is essential at all levels of seniority â from more junior team members right through to senior regional executives. Given the often complex nature of some of the regulations, a critical element of the role will be the ability to take stakeholders and end users through the full change lifecycle, without baffling them with technical terms and theoretical / textbook concepts.
This is a âhands-onâ role, requiring the individual to, at times, go beyond the job description and support other areas of the programme delivery to ensure a successful transition and adoption of the change. Focus must be on successful delivery of required outcomes, rather than theoretical practitioner execution.
Key responsibilities:- Accountable for the successful delivery and embedding of the required changes as specified by specific regulations for EMEA.
- Responsible for working across EMEA with a variety of different stakeholder groups in order to enable the successful delivery and embedding of changes.
- Responsible for supporting programme director / manager for change management efforts across various different âstreamsâ of required changes.
- Accountable for leading and / or supporting the creation and delivery of workshop and training materials within workshops across EMEA, with the input/ support of programme SMEâs.
- Responsible for guiding programme SMEâs through best practise to ensure successful transition and embedding of the programme into BAU operations.
- Takes full ownership of the change plan, aligned with the overall programme plan, including all appropriate communications, training and stakeholder management elements to drive the required changes.
- Working closely with the Communications Manager to ensure the right content, medium and messaging is used to support the change activities.
- Supports the appropriate tailoring and re-structuring complex policies and process documents to ensure stakeholders from many disciplines are able to adopt new âways of workingâ in conjunction with Programme SMEs.
- Works in conjunction with EMEA markets by building strong relationships with relevant stakeholders, to support embedding and identification of additional support and needs from the market teams.
- Considerable experience of leading and owning change activities and being able to evidence successful outcomes â experience of driving regulatory changes is preferred but not essential.
- Must be able to âhit the ground runningâ and quickly grasp the requirements of the programme whilst working well as a part of a team, as well as independently.
- Ability to own activities, through to completion, be they assigned by the Programme Manager or pro-actively self-identified.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, across individuals all levels of the organisation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to tailor messaging across stakeholders for whom English is not their 1st language.
- Preferably experience of working in a regional role across multiple geographies with awareness of intricacies of media agencies / hold cos.
