Role Overview
We are seeking a highly competent and proactive Media Planning professional at the Business Director or senior Account Director level to provide urgent support for the new account. This is a critical "hands-on" role requiring an individual who can operate independently in a fast-paced, transitional environment. You will manage the full-funnel planning process, from taking client briefs to overseeing activation and execution across all media channels.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Media Planning: Own the media planning process across the full funnel, including Brand, Retail, and Always-On/Lead Generation campaigns.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as a primary point of contact for client briefs, working closely with strategists to translate objectives into actionable plans.
- Execution & Activation: Manage and collaborate with implementation and activation teams to ensure seamless delivery of media plans.
- Strategic Coordination: Support the heavy lifting required during a key recruitment phase, ensuring all client requirements are met with high standards of presentation and accuracy.
- Stakeholder Management: Work effectively within our network and internal teams to navigate complex account requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record at BD or senior AD level within a media agency.
- Sector Expertise: Previous experience in the Automotive and Luxury sectors is highly desirable.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the UK media landscape.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in managing media execution across all channels (Awareness to Conversion).
- Soft Skills: Resilient, high work ethic, and able to thrive in an "all hands to the pump" environment. Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail are non-negotiable.
