ABOUT THE ROLE

ROLE SUMMARY: The Dyson Transition Tech Lead will play a critical role in delivering the Media Operations workstream as part of a global transformation programme. This is a specialist, hands-on role focused on the technical migration and setup of Dyson’s ad tech ecosystem, including platform ownership, campaign architecture, billing alignment, and governance. Working across global, hub, and local teams, the role will lead the design and implementation of scalable platform structures, ensuring readiness for campaign activation and long-term operational efficiency. This is a time-bound transition role requiring deep expertise in ad platforms and the ability to operate at pace across multiple markets and stakeholders.

Technical Leadership & Platform Architecture

  • Lead the design and configuration of global ad tech infrastructure across platforms (GMP, social, search, programmatic)
  • Define platform hierarchy and account structures aligned to the new operating model
  • Audit existing platform ownership, billing structures, and determine rebuild vs. transfer approach

Data, Tracking & Taxonomy Implementation

  • Support taxonomy and tagging design in collaboration with data teams
  • Define and implement pixel, floodlight, and conversion tracking strategies
  • Ensure consistency and integrity of data across markets and platforms

Campaign & Media Operations Transition

  • Own campaign migration planning and execution across lifecycle stages
  • Ensure platform readiness for activation and alignment with new campaign structures
  • Coordinate platform builds and setups in partnership with Dyson and activation teams

Governance, Access & Compliance

  • Implement governance frameworks across platforms, including user access and permissions
  • Audit and rationalise existing user access, removing non-relevant profiles
  • Establish processes for ongoing management of centralised platform seats

Financial & Billing Alignment

  • Support setup and alignment of billing structures across platforms
  • Link billing profiles to newly created account structures
  • Ensure alignment between campaign activity, budgets, and financial processes

Programme & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Support transition governance, including tracking, documentation, and status updates
  • Coordinate across global, hub, and local stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery
  • Partner with internal teams and markets to ensure smooth handover and implementation

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong hands-on experience with ad tech platforms, particularly GMP, alongside social, search, and programmatic platforms
  • Proven experience in platform setup, account architecture, and large-scale campaign migrations
  • Deep understanding of tracking, tagging, taxonomy, and data consistency across platforms
  • Experience with platform governance, user access management, and compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with billing structures, financial processes, and platform-account linkages
  • Ability to lead complex, multi-market technical implementations within tight timelines
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across global and local teams
  • Experience working in transition or transformation programmes preferred
