We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and support our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong logistics and supply chain background, while also being willing and able to take part in day-to-day warehouse tasks when needed. This role combines supervisory responsibility with practical warehouse work, including lifting, loading, and forklift operation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations and maintain effective warehouse management systems to improve efficiency.
- Manage inventory control and ensure accurate stock levels are maintained.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a productive and motivated team environment.
- Actively support the team by performing warehouse tasks when required (e.g., lifting up to 25kg, operating forklifts, loading/unloading).
- Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of goods to couriers (DPD, Royal Mail, etc.).
- Monitor KPI and implement improvements.
- Conduct regular audits of warehouse processes to ensure compliance with safety and customs regulations.
- Maintain and operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, ensuring they are in safe working condition.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise overall supply chain performance.
