Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and corrective maintenance of traffic signal assets, ancillary equipment, and highways systems.
  • Conduct periodic inspections and electrical testing of traffic signal infrastructure.
  • Collect and process data to enable fault-free analysis of equipment performance.
  • Analyse performance data to ensure contractual compliance and maintain accurate records.
  • Support emergency repairs and out-of-hours service contract requirements.
  • Commission traffic signal installations and ancillary systems.
  • Complete mandatory NHSS training and undertake ongoing technical training as needed.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety procedures and proactively identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Carry out any other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the role.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Proficient in product-specific software and IT systems.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a proactive approach to learning.
  • Experience working at heights and outdoors (desirable).
  • Experience testing electrical equipment in industrial environments (desirable).
  • Previous experience with traffic signal and ancillary equipment (desirable).
