Responsibilities
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance of traffic signal assets, ancillary equipment, and highways systems
- Conduct periodic inspections and electrical testing of traffic signal infrastructure
- Collect and process data to enable fault‑free analysis of equipment performance
- Analyse performance data to ensure contractual compliance and maintain accurate records
- Support emergency repairs and out‑of‑hours service contract requirements
- Commission traffic signal installations and ancillary systems
- Complete mandatory NHSS training and undertake ongoing technical training as needed
- Comply with all Health & Safety procedures and proactively identify and mitigate hazards
- Carry out any other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the role
Qualifications & Experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Proficient in product‑specific software and IT systems
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable with a proactive approach to learning
- Experience working at heights and outdoors (desirable)
- Experience testing electrical equipment in industrial environments (desirable)
- Previous experience with traffic signal and ancillary equipment (desirable)
