Do you want to make a difference with the work you do? Join us as a Service Account Manager. Based at our Avonmouth depot we’re looking for a Service Account Manager to lead our Field Service Team in the South West and South Wales, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery whilst partnering closely with our customers. You’ll lead teams of Field Service contract managers, engineers, and operatives responsible for the delivery of our maintenance, installation, and refurbishment contracts. These contracts will cover a range of intelligent traffic solutions, including traffic signals, enforcement cameras and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in ensuring profitability of the local accounts and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

We value experience, but equally important is your character and approach to work. We are looking for someone with excellent leadership qualities, who’s flexible and keen to learn so we can support you with a career in the traffic signals industry. Key to this is the importance of health and safety at work, a willingness to learn and work as part of a team. Being a leadership role, traffic industry background isn’t essential, but experience in a related industry could be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Support the management of all Avonmouth and South Wales based contracts.
• Leadership of a team of site and office based staff, ensuring effective line management and staff development.
• Safe and high-quality service, to agreed programmes and budget.
• Work closely with contractors and supply chain partners to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective service can be offered, in the safest possible way.
• Collaborate with colleagues in H&S, finance, sales, tendering, logistics, procurement, and manufacturing.
• Manage project deadlines, forecast revenue, margin and costs, and control non-conformance.
• Liaise with and support internal stakeholders to participate and support bids and tenders.
• Lead and contribute to continuous improvement work, locally and nationally.
• Consult with the customer, contractors and third parties to ensure effective working from pre-contract to post work completion stages.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Management/supervisory experience in a related industry including line management responsibilities.
• Excellent understanding of Health, Safety, and environment legislation/procedures (IOSH / NEBOSH).
• Contract / commercial knowledge and ideally previous project or contract management experience.
• An ability for multi-tasking, using your own initiative whilst remaining customer and people focused.
• Ability to communicate well to both your team, leadership, colleagues, and customers.
• You’re able to create a positive workplace environment, communicate clearly and lead with enthusiasm and energy.
• You need a full driving licence and be based within commutable distance of the Avonmouth area.
