Join us as a SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Operator We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated SMT Operator to join our state-of-the-art electronics manufacturing facility in Poole (soon to be Bournemouth).
You will be responsible for running and maintaining our automated SMT assembly lines, ensuring all products are built to the highest quality standards
Responsibilities: Setting up and operating automated Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machinery to assemble electronic circuitsload components, operate pick-and-place machines and reflow ovens, and ensure high-quality production of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Quality
Assurance: Conduct visual inspections and use Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) to verify component placement and solder quality.
Documentation: Work from engineering drawings, assembly diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Qualifications & Experience: Previous experience operating and setting up SMT pick-and-place machines and associated equipment is highly preferred.
General electronics assembly background and familiarity with PCB components.
Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail for handling miniature electronic components.
