We are looking for a creative, organised and hands‑on Graphic Designer & E‑commerce Assistant to join our growing e‑commerce and marketing team. The Role
We are looking for a talented and proactive Graphic Designer & E‑commerce Assistant to support the creation of digital assets across our website, email marketing, paid advertising and social media channels. You will also assist with key e‑commerce tasks such as product uploads, product imagery, website updates and product linking. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, good attention to detail, a creative eye for fashion and the ability to work across multiple digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Graphic Design & Digital Assets
- Create engaging digital assets for Yumi Clothing across website, email, paid ads and social media.
- Design newsletter graphics, homepage banners, collection banners, promotional assets and campaign artwork.
- Create paid advertising banners for Meta, Google, display ads and other digital marketing channels.
- Support seasonal campaigns, promotional launches, product edits and brand storytelling through strong visual design.
- Ensure all creative assets are aligned with Yumi’s brand identity, tone and commercial objectives.
- Resize and adapt artwork for different platforms, formats and marketing channels.
- Help maintain a consistent visual style across the website, newsletters, ads and social content.
- Image Editing, Retouching & AI Creative
- Retouch product and lifestyle imagery for use across the website and marketing channels.
- Support image cut‑outs, colour corrections, background adjustments and general image clean‑up.
- Use AI image tools where appropriate to support creative asset production, image generation and campaign visuals.
- Prepare imagery for product pages, collection pages, newsletters and advertising campaigns.
- Ensure images are high quality, commercially appealing and ready for online use.
- Social Media Creative Support
- Support the social media team with creative assets for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and other channels.
- Create social media graphics, promotional posts, story assets, reels covers and campaign visuals.
- Assist with basic video editing for social content, ads and campaign materials.
- Help adapt website and newsletter creative into social‑friendly formats.
- Stay aware of current fashion, social media and design trends to help keep content fresh and engaging.
- E-commerce Support
- Assist with uploading products to the Yumi website when needed.
- Help link product colours, variants and related styles.
- Support collection updates, product merchandising and website content changes.
- Assist with product tagging, categorisation and general Shopify admin tasks.
- Help ensure product pages are accurate, visually appealing and optimised for customers.
- Support the e‑commerce team with day‑to‑day website tasks, promotional updates and campaign launches.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in graphic design, digital design, e‑commerce, fashion or a similar creative role.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Experience with Canva, Figma or other design tools would be beneficial.
- Good understanding of digital design for websites, newsletters, paid ads and social media.
- Basic video editing skills for social media content.
- Experience with Shopify or another e‑commerce platform is highly desirable.
- Strong image editing and retouching skills.
- Interest in AI creative tools and image generation.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- A creative eye for fashion, colour, layout and commercial design.
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining high design standards.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Nice to Have
- Experience working for a fashion, retail or lifestyle brand.
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Omnisend or Klaviyo.
- Experience creating assets for paid advertising campaigns.
