Reporting to the Senior Finance Analyst - G&A and Funds, you will be responsible for the financial accounting of advertising and technology funds across multiple markets, ensuring accurate reporting, effective budget management, and robust financial governance.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and updating marketing spend trackers to provide clear visibility of year-to-date and forecasted expenditure, highlighting variances and communicating overspends or anomalies to budget holders.
- Collaborating with marketing and commercial finance teams through regular catch-ups to ensure advertising spend remains aligned with approved budgets across markets.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement aimed at increasing efficiency and strengthening internal controls in line with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
- Performing periodic and monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Delivering period-end and month-end tasks within strict reporting deadlines.
- Supporting internal and external audit activities by preparing documentation and responding to queries.
- Preparing franchise billing requests accurately and in accordance with agreed timelines and processes.
