About the Job
The Analyst will work closely with market teams on reporting and managing spend to budget. Posting journals and analysing costs for G&A (head office costs), Advertising and Supply Chain funds, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and maintenance of fund accounts within market divisions.
Responsibilities
- Month-end control and reporting for designated markets.
- Ensuring all accounting entries and recharges are completed, producing Marketing P&Ls, and completing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Accurately recording and reconciling accruals with supporting documents.
- Reviewing transactions for the Marketing company to ensure quality P&L reporting.
- Managing accounting for revenue from contracts.
- Updating HFM monthly, including input of data and store counts.
- Supporting internal, SOX, and external audits.
- Managing fixed asset accounting and depreciation runs.
- Collaborating closely with peers in the control team.
- Supporting planning with actuals for forecasting Marketing fund and contract accounting.
- Maintaining strong internal controls in areas handled.
Is This You?
- Bachelor\’s in accounting, finance or related field or relevant finance qualification.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting and reporting.
- Experience in an international company
- Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and development skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines effectively, prioritize work tasks, and handle a dynamic work environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and draw insightful conclusions.
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
- A team player with integrity and a sound work ethic.
- Strong MS Excel skills and exposure to an ERP system
- Strong process-oriented mindset with high attention to detail.
Work Environment
This role is based out of our Restaurant Support Centre (RSC) in Woking (around 25 minutes be train from London Waterloo) and a minimum of 1 day per week in the RSC is required, plus occasional other days for team or market meetings.
