Sr. Analyst, External Reporting and Indirect Tax

Responsibilities: Preparing statutory accounts for UK companies Liaison with reporting team and local auditors for European company audits. Preparation of UK VAT returns for two VAT groups and liaising with European accountants to provide information for local VAT returns. Preparation of government statistical reporting for the UK and Ireland Working with reporting teams to understand differences between US and Local GAAP Liaising with tax team to ensure Statutory Accounts can be efficiently processed for Corporation tax. Supporting internal, SOX, and external audits. Maintaining strong internal controls in areas handled. Requirements: Qualified accountant or working towards ACA or ACCA qualification. 4+ years of experience in accounting and reporting. Experience in an international company desirable. Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and development skills. Ability to manage deadlines effectively, prioritize work tasks, and handle a dynamic work environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and draw insightful conclusions. Excellent communication skills, written and oral. A team player with integrity and a sound work ethic. Strong MS Excel skills and exposure to an ERP system. Strong process-oriented mindset with high attention to detail. Work Environment: This role is based out of our Restaurant Support Centre (RSC) in Woking (around 25 minutes by train from London Waterloo) and a minimum of 1 day per week in the RSC is required, plus occasional other days for team or market meetings.
