Job Description: The Expense Analyst works across the European markets to set up and onboard employees to the expense system and post month-end journals for the expenses. This role involves various tasks such as supporting employees with using the systems, compliance with internal control policies, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the team in timely reporting of results to management.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure accurate and timely payments to employees for all expense systems.
- Support with third party travel providers and ensure costs are authorized.
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies, guidelines, and practices.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. expense providers, employees, departments) as required.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and schedules for assigned accounts to ensure integrity and validation.
- Provide support in internal and external audits.
- 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Positive mindset and can-do attitude.
- Strong process-oriented mindset with high attention to detail.
- Able to work with different systems and adopt best practices from each.
- Ability to manage deadlines effectively, prioritize work tasks, and handle a dynamic work environment.
- Analytical skills with the ability to draw insightful conclusions.

Work Environment: This role is based out of our Restaurant Support Centre (RSC) in Woking (around 25 minutes by train from London Waterloo). A minimum of 1-2 days per week in the RSC is required, plus occasional other days for team or market meetings.
