We’re looking for a hands-on animation intern to help pose and animate stylised character images and short looping animations for an adult animated franchise website and social content. This is a practical, execution-focused role, ideal for someone building a showreel and wanting real production experience on a professional IP.

Role Overview:

The intern will assist with posing characters and creating short animation loops using Blender, working from clear creative direction and visual references. You will report to a senior artist who oversees rendering, lighting, and the technical pipeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Pose stylised 3D characters in Blender for still images
  • Create short, simple animation loops (2–3 seconds)
  • Work from provided creative direction, references, and story beats
  • Iterate on poses and motion based on feedback
  • Prepare assets for handoff to a senior artist for rendering and final output
  • Collaborate remotely with a small creative team

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Some experience using Blender (student, graduate, or self-taught)
  • Strong sense of pose, silhouette, timing, and character
  • Ability to make images read clearly and quickly
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own time
  • Own computer and reliable internet connection
