In this role, you will work with the Finance Planning & Reporting team, playing a crucial part in delivering accurate and timely financial information to key stakeholders, including Yugo Operations and our external accountants and investors.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the month end close process and delivery of monthly and quarterly P&Ls for properties managed by Yugo in Italy
- Support with problem solving and process improvement
- Perform P&L reviews with Yugo Operations to support their understanding of property financial performance, which in turn allow them to provide insightful analysis to investors
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and analysis against Budget/Forecast
- Preparation and completion of full and accurate balance sheet reconciliations
- Delivery of appropriate business and financial analysis as required
- Contribute to audit processes over property statutory accounts, ensure requests from property auditors are addressed on a timely basis
- Support mobilisation of new properties or disposal of existing properties where required
- Assist with queries and requests from property investors
- Provide support to other departments with any other tasks as required
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and resolving legacy issues, implementing best practices, and supporting finance transformation and process optimisation projects
Qualifications
Essential:
- Part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified AAT
- Fluent Italian Speaker
- Strong Excel skills
Desirable:
- Understanding of Italian Statutory Accounting
- Oracle NetSuite experience
