We are one of the market leaders in student accommodation and we're looking for a friendly and reliable House Keeper to join our residence team in our state-of-the art student accommodation in the heart of Colchester. You'll be responsible for keeping communal areas and rooms clean and tidy and deep cleaning vacated rooms & kitchens where required between tenancies. Excellent attention to detail is needed to ensure everything is highly presentable and in tip top condition for the students that live with us.
Responsibilities
- Manage your health and safety responsibilities as set out in Section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974.
- Take care of yourself and those around you by your acts or omissions.
- Cooperate with your employer on health and safety matters.
Qualifications
- Experience within a similar role where cleaning and safety is a priority.
- Eye for attention & detail.
- Friendly and approachable.
- Can-do attitude & initiative.
- Able to communicate effectively with people.
- Responsive to any queries.
- Willingness to go the extra mile.
- Preferred: A preferred qualification and/or willingness to undertake training for Carbon Literacy as our Pillars are a fundamental part of our brand.
