Location: UK-Newcastle upon Tyne

Overview: CRM Oxford House, 16 hours per week (Monday - Thursday 3pm - 7pm with occasional overtime when required), £11,190.40 per annum, Central Newcastle.

We are one of the market leaders in student accommodation and we’re looking for a friendly and reliable Housekeeper to join our residence team in our state‑of‑the‑art student accommodation in the heart of Newcastle. You’ll be responsible for keeping communal areas and rooms clean and tidy and deep cleaning vacated rooms & kitchens where required between tenancies. Excellent attention to detail is needed to ensure everything is highly presentable and in tip‑top condition for the students that live with us.

Responsibilities:

  • Communal cleaning, empty room cleaning, kitchen cleans
  • Covering front desk on occasion
  • Handing out parcels
  • Helping with summer turnaround

Along with the day-to-day activities within your role, you will also be required to manage your health and safety responsibilities as set out in Section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974, where it states that you have a duty to take care of yourself and those around you, by your acts or omissions and to cooperate with your employer on health and safety matters.
