The Marketing Insights Specialist will oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of our digital reporting and analytics strategies. This role requires a highly skilled individual with expertise in digital analytics, reporting tools, and data visualization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the direction of multiple global digital strategies, managing key performance metrics, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions and improve digital performance.
The candidate will form part of the central marketing team that will support the overarching global business strategy for leasing, asset mobilization, and day-to-day customer acquisition for multiple student brands.
Its a big job! You are a self-starter and are (relatively) autonomous, at least enough to work across multiple time zones and jurisdictions. Crucially you are passionate about and energized by new projects and creating growth and contributing to the success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital reporting strategies to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
- Utilize Google Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, and Tableau to design, create, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide insights into digital performance and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and IT, to understand data needs and provide actionable insights to support strategic objectives.
- Oversee the implementation of digital analytics tools and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Monitor and analyze digital marketing campaigns, user behavior, and website performance to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management and investors, highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in digital analytics and reporting.

Experience and Knowledge
- Essential: Marketing or Communication related degree or equivalent professional qualification. Knowledge of additional analytics tools or platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Looker). Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization. Excellent written and spoken English. Ability to maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders (teammates, students, owners etc). Be passionate about the details, do what it takes with momentum, resourcefulness, and a positive, go-getter attitude regardless of the tasks at hand. Must be able to multi-task, grasp complex concepts, collaborate with subject matter experts and ultimately present solutions effectively in written and visual format. Experience in student housing. Ability and willingness to travel in the region.
- Desirable: First experience with budgeting. Knowledge of strategy setting and owner relations.
