We are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join our team based in Leicester (Hybrid working 4 days per week in the office). This role requires occasional travel to our Nottingham offices.
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of IT and Business Change projects delivering value-driven technical solutions to business stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are prioritised and delivered against budgets & timelines.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain utilisation, margin, minimise overruns.
- Drive best practice project delivery from concept through to delivery.
- Lead, motivate and develop allocated and seconded team members to meet performance and behavioural objectives.
- Implement change management including impact assessment, business readiness, issue communication.
- Implement best practices for Project Management and Requirements via Jira or similar and deliver CI/CD using solutions like GitHub/GitLab.
- Manage risks and issues to successful conclusion.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
- Manage tender and procurement of contractors and third-party services from RFP to support and handover to BAU.
Requirements
- Proven track record managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven analytical skills with experience of project budgeting and road-mapping.
- Experience with cloud solutions such as Salesforce, MuleSoft and emerging AI and automation solutions such as Power Automate.
- Experience in utility supplier environments (ideally energy) delivering projects such as Business Apps, IT Infrastructure, IT Transformation, Data Migrations, IT Support Services.
- Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in managing cross-functional projects in large organisations.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar project tools.
