Overview
Reports to: Collections Manager
Location: Leicester LE3 5BZ
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week and Part Time Considered.
Salary: £24,570 – £26,000 per annum, dependant on experience. Bonus: Opportunity to earn £1250 every 3 months.

Responsibilities
- Negotiating with customers: You\\\’ll work with commercial customers to resolve overdue debts while maintaining positive, professional relationships.
- Developing payment solutions: By understanding customers’ financial situations, you’ll help negotiate sustainable payment arrangements that suit their needs and circumstances.
- Managing the debt recovery process: Efficiently progressing debt cases through the treatment paths, accelerating higher-risk cases, and ensuring issues are resolved quickly to prevent further delays.
- Collaborating with teams: You\\\’ll work closely with both internal and external teams to maintain a unified, efficient approach.
- Providing performance updates: Prepare accurate management information to report on your individual performance and success

- Strong Negotiation Skills: You’re a natural at negotiating win-win solutions and are adept at managing sensitive conversations with tact and diplomacy.
- Previous Experience: While experience as a Telephone Collections Agent, Credit Controller or Collections Advisor is beneficial, we\\\’re open to individuals with strong negotiation skills and customer service backgrounds.
- Energy Industry Knowledge: Experience in the energy industry is a bonus but not essential. What matters most is your ability to understand and resolve financial issues effectively.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You must be an excellent communicator, able to build rapport and work well with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical Mindset: You have a keen eye for detail and are naturally curious, using your analytical skills to find solutions and improve processes.
