Basic Salary: £44,805
Hours: Working away – 3 weeks out of 4.
40 hours: Travel Sunday, Working Monday – Thursday 8am – 7pm, Travel Home Friday
Working from your home postcode – week 4.
Location: expected to cover Dundee (DD)/Perth(PH)/Aberdeen (AB)/Inverness(IV)
Overview:
We’re looking for talented and ambitious engineers to join our rapidly growing business. We have a unique and exciting opportunity for passionate and motivated individuals to join our exciting journey to grow our field gas and electric metering capability.
The Elite Transient Dual Fuel role sees team members working in various locations across the UK. Working away three weeks out of four. Travel is allocated on a Sunday, a 40 hour week Monday – Thursday with travel home on a Friday. Travel time is paid along with a daily sustenance allowance of £25.
This is not just any dual fuel metering opportunity – we are reinventing the role and the opportunities and reward that come with it! If you’re an engineer who is also effective at building relationships with customers, your destiny could lie with us.
We want engineers capable of delivering a variety of positive outcomes to our customers and business, focused on quality with safety paramount.
This role is working predominately in the commercial sector. Upon joining us you will be upskilled to:
- Three phase
- Medium pressure
- Helping our customers avoid or recovery from debt situations (We conduct friendly customer collaborative field visits to resolve customer debt issues).
- Alternating between attending warrants as an engineer and as a Warrant Officer
We also have opportunities to upskill to:
- Half Hourly / CT Metering
- Gas U16 – U40

- Responsible for the safe installation, exchange, commission, removal and ongoing maintenance of metering systems and associated equipment and communication systems
- Undertake Debt Resolution Visits with the aim to fit a Smart Meter to help customers manage their debt.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential Qualifications / Experience:
- Smart Metering (Dual Fuel) Experience
- Industry Qualifications: CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent)
- Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent)
Desirable:
- MET4 – Small commercial gas metering
- Current Transformer (CT)
- Three Phase
- REGT1-Medium Pressure
Additional Requirements:
- UK Driving Licence
- Pass a colour blindness test
- Pass a DBS check
