Production Supervisor in Yeovil

Do you like working outdoors? Do you have experience in or an understanding of the water production process? If so, we have a great opportunity for you to join our Yeovil production team as a Production Supervisor.

What you'll do

• You will play a key role in leading the Yeovil production team, which operates and maintains our production assets to comply with appropriate legislation and company standards.
• Monitoring and optimising the treatment process will ensure that we operate as cost‑effectively as possible.
• Working under the production manager, you will:
• Assist with the day‑to‑day running of the production team to ensure that we produce high‑quality water of sufficient quantity for our customers.
• Make sure jobs are achieved on target.
• Carry out process risk and team upskilling assessments.
• Comply with all Health and Safety requirements and company procedures.
• Take part in a paid on‑call standby rota, including weekend working, when required.
• Review approvals of the production teams' holiday and overtime claims.
• Take the lead on the production teams' training and upskilling.

What you'll need

• You should have experience in or an understanding of the water treatment process, Scope‑x/Prism and QlikView.
• You will also need:
• Good communication skills.
• Experience in leading a team.
• A flexible approach to work, including working as part of a team and on your own, when required.
• A valid driving licence to be able to travel to a variety of sites in the region.
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong planning, communication and prioritisation skills.
