Do you have experience in a plant and tool environment? Have you worked with machinery such as excavators, rollers, telehandlers, dumpers and trailers? If so, we have an opportunity to join our Fleet Hire team, based in Somerset covering Taunton and the surrounding areas.

What you'll do

  • Be responsible for diagnosing and rectifying plant and tool faults, ensuring all statutory requirements are maintained.
  • Ensure the effective servicing, fault diagnosis and repair work of equipment to maintain current standards.
  • Submit clear, concise and accurate reports of work carried out and time spent on tasks.

What you'll need

  • You will need to be mechanically minded with a positive attitude towards servicing, maintaining, finding faults and diagnostics on a variety of diesel, petrol and electrical plant and tool hire items, both on site and in our workshop.
  • To have a relevant mechanical/electrical qualification.
  • To hold a valid driving licence (a vehicle will be provided).
  • To have PAT testing experience.
  • The ability to tow (desirable).
