Technical Assistant in Trowbridge

We are looking for a Technical Assistant to join our Liquid Bioresources Team in Trowbridge on a part-time basis, providing environmentally friendly treatment of various non-hazardous liquids to our valued customers.

What you'll do

• A typical day as a Technical Assistant will involve liaising with the drivers, testing samples, checking & completing paperwork, and accurately recording information on our computer system.
• Providing our customers with exceptional service.
• Ensuring that onsite equipment such as our discharge bays and plant remains clean, effective and operational.
• Taking a proactive approach to Health & Safety and being a champion of safe practices and policies by completing daily checks and routine inspections.

Predominantly three days per week, ideally Tuesday – Thursday between the hours of 08:00 -16:00, but some flexibility in the working days may be possible. Due to business need, on occasion cover on non-working days will be required.

What you'll need

• An interest in the wastewater industry and especially if you have practical experience.
• A passion for the environment, a positive can-do attitude, and the ability to engage in a professional and friendly manner with others.
• A good understanding of wastewater treatment processes and legislation is advantageous.
• A driving licence and computer skills.
