What you'll do
- Working as part of a busy team, you will be trained to use a variety of techniques and equipment to find leaks on our network.
- Once fully trained, you will liaise with other network staff to maintain and improve the network system, as well as review flow alarms and calibrate and maintain leakage equipment.
- Carry out reactive and proactive leak detection.
- Monitor the leakage system and collect data.
- Participate in out-of-hours standby.
What you'll need
- You will be a driven, hardworking and self-motivated person with the ability to learn new skills.
- You will also need to be able to work well alone or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Good customer service skills.
- Good IT skills, as you will be dealing with internal systems daily.
- A flexible approach to working hours is a must, as this role will involve planning and carrying out night work, typically once per week.
- A full driving licence is part of your role as you will be driving.
