What you'll do
Based in Bridgwater, your role will involve:
- the operation and maintenance of conventional sewage treatment plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards
- running advanced wastewater treatment and sludge process plants
- ensuring compliance with company policy, processes, and procedures
- ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all colleagues, the public and yourself at all times
- working outside of normal working hours, including evenings and weekends.
What you'll need
You will need experience working unsupervised in an industrial or process plant is also essential. Electrical or mechanical experience would be desirable. Confined spaces training will be provided.
You will also need:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, maths, and a technical subject
- to be happy working outside in all condition
- a valid driving licence, ideally with category BE
- to be flexible in your approach to work.
