Do you enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team? If so, we have a great opportunity for you as a Repair and Maintenance (R&M) Supply Operator.
As one of our R&M Supply Operators, you will be working in the Network Utilities team, which provides a vital service that helps to ensure we supply water to 1.4 million customers. Dealing with different challenges every day, you'll carry out a variety of repairs and maintenance to the water supply distribution network while ensuring the work meets quality and customer service standards. This may include excavating and repairing burst water mains and leaks, as well as making new connections, in addition to landscaping and general building works. You will work outdoors and will operate as part of a two-person team.
What you'll need:
- This role will be based in Wiltshire, so it is best suited to candidates living in the surrounding area, but consideration will be given to those living further away.
- Have a positive and can-do attitude.
- Be well-organised, customer-focused and a great team player.
- Have experience in excavation using hand tools, installing new services and meters, pipe-laying and/or general building.
- Have a current Street works ticket and a Health and Safety certificate, although full training can be given if not.
- Have a valid UK driving licence.
For this role, you will need to take a flexible approach to working hours and out-of-hours working.
