If you are looking for a hands-on career in fast-moving civil construction projects, this is your chance to lead from the front. Due to the growing volume and increasing complexity of our projects across the region, we are recruiting a new team and seeking an experienced Team Leader to support and deliver our expanding workload.

What you’ll do

  • You will lead the site delivery of planned and reactive fast-moving civil projects across the Wessex Water region.
  • This will include overseeing daily operations, motivating and developing a skilled, specialist team, and ensuring work is completed safely, to the required quality standards, on time and within budget.
  • You’ll work with modern construction methods and equipment, including:
    • Horizontal Directional Drilling
    • Auger Boring
    • Pipe Bursting

What you’ll need

  • This role suits a dynamic, driven and enthusiastic leader who is keen to learn, lead, and share knowledge and experience with others.
  • Full training will be provided, along with clear opportunities to further develop your skills and progress your career as part of a growing team.
  • The team leader ideally will hold the following training certificates:
    • SMSTS/SSSTS
    • NRSWA
    • Plant operations such as 360 Excavator, Dumper, Telehandler, or Ride-on Roller, although full training will be provided.
