Are you looking for a new career and enjoy solving problems? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join the Bioresources team at Yeovil, Vale Road. The position offers an opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team working with a variety of equipment, assets and processes. You will have the opportunity to embrace curiosity and develop new skills outside of your normal day-to-day activities.

What you'll do

  • Every day is different. You will be working in all weather conditions, carrying out a range of tasks, to ensure the essential functions of our Bioresource treatment centre.
  • Your day-to-day will include:
  • monitoring and optimising process performance both in the field and using SCADA systems
  • performing routine maintenance and carrying out general site activities as required to keep operations running smoothly
  • looking for ways to improve day-to-day performance and efficiency, raising ideas with the team
  • keeping the site tidy and well-organised
  • communicating daily with wider teams
  • ensuring full compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures
  • promoting and upholding the health, safety, and welfare of all colleagues, visitors, the public, and yourself at all times.

You will work an 11-hour day shift pattern of four days on, four days off. Your working hours will include weekends, regularly performing standby duties and providing emergency cover, if required.

What you'll need

  • You don't need a background in the water industry, and we welcome applications from candidates outside of the sector, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas.
