If so, we have a great opportunity to join our Sewerage Network team as a Sewer Rehabilitation Team Leader!
You will work across the whole Wessex Water region, with the main depots being based in Avonmouth, Wellington and Kinson.
In addition to your salary, you will benefit from a monthly bonus on the completion of your probationary period and access to a company vehicle, laptop and phone.
Your role will see you travel across the region, which may include Bristol, Chippenham, Salisbury, Bournemouth, Bridport, Taunton and everything in between.
What you'll do
You'll be at the heart of keeping our wastewater network safe, reliable and future‑ready for the 2.9 million customers who rely on us every day.
As a Sewer Rehabilitation Team Leader, you'll take ownership of delivering high‑quality trenchless repairs and lining works across our network while leading, developing and motivating a team.
This is a role where your decisions matter, your expertise is valued, and your leadership directly improves the service our customers receive.
Your day-to-day work will include
- carrying out planned and reactive repairs on the wastewater network using trenchless techniques such as sewer lining
- leading by example on site, ensuring safe working practices and high-quality workmanship
- working outdoors in all conditions, solving problems on the ground and delivering a vital service to customers
- carrying out CCTV surveys, diagnosing defects and preparing sites for lining works, including site set-ups, traffic management and over-pumping
- ensuring all work meets safety, environmental and quality standards, leading by example on site
- coaching, mentoring and guiding operatives, helping them grow their skills and confidence
- coordinating daily tasks, materials, equipment and site readiness to keep jobs running smoothly
- representing the company professionally when interacting with customers, landowners and other stakeholders.
- What you'll need

You'll ideally have knowledge and/or experience in
- a practical, hands‑on outdoor role.

You must have
- a valid UK driving licence with proven towing experience
- the ability to pass a confined space entry medical.
