As our new Senior Graphic Designer, you will support the Group Head of Design and lead a range of design projects. You will create and develop eye-catching, compelling designs across a range of brands, in both offline and online channels. The role is based at our Bath head office five days a week. Following successful completion of the six-month probation period, you will have the option to work from home one day per week.
What you’ll do
- Provide upkeep of the YTL Group brands.
- Work with the Group Head of Design to ensure consistent branding and designs across all group companies.
- Deputise for the Group Head of Design when needed and support the freelance designers.
- Provide outstanding design work that meets the brief, is on budget, is delivered within deadlines and is on brand.
- Liaise with external suppliers such as printers and photographers, ensuring quality, value for money and environmental standards are met.
- Collaborate with other teams within the group to ensure brand consistency.
- Provide exceptional creativity and innovation, balanced with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Have excellent organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage your own deadlines, contribute to planning and prioritise work for the wider design team.
- Have professional time-management and proactive communication skills, and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Have a keen interest in the latest design trends, tools and best practices, with a commitment to continuous learning and sharing knowledge with others.
- Have experience creating branded environments and campaign assets.
- Have a positive, proactive attitude and a passion for design.
What you’ll need
- Senior graphic design experience in a studio or agency.
- A degree or a similar level qualification in Graphic Design.
- The ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
- Working knowledge of using an Apple Mac.
- The capability of planning workloads and meeting deadlines.
- The ability to produce artwork from an initial brief right up to the finished product.
- The ability to be a brand guardian, ensuring consistency across all design channels.
- Typography and layout skills.
- Attention to detail and for you to be proactive, self-motivated and well organised.
