Do you enjoy working as part of a team? If so, we have a great opportunity for you as a Repair and Maintenance (R&M) Store Person in the Trowbridge depot.

What you'll do

  • Working in the Network Utilities team, which provides a vital service that helps to ensure we supply water to 1.4 million customers.
  • Carrying out a variety of duties, including:
  • Servicing gangs with fittings and materials daily
  • Maintaining and stocking stores
  • Using company computer systems and ordering software
  • Controlling materials, plant and equipment in the depot
  • Working hygienically and safely while achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction
  • Ordering, collecting and delivering materials/fittings where required
  • Managing skips, recycling and depot waste transfer practices
  • Placing no-waiting cones on site daily for future work

What you'll need

  • This role will be based in Wiltshire, so it is best suited to candidates living in the surrounding area, but consideration will be given to those living further away.
  • Ideally, you will:
  • Have a positive and can-do attitude
  • Be well-organised, customer-focused and a great team player
  • Have experience in pipework and pipe fittings
  • Have a current Street works ticket and a Health and Safety certificate, although full training can be given if not
  • Have a valid UK driving licence

For this role, you will need to take a flexible approach to working hours and out-of-hours working if required.
