Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where each day brings new challenges? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our busy plant desk team as a Fleet Controller!
What you\'ll do
You\'ll take a practical, solutions-focused approach to your work, using good judgment to prioritise tasks, resolve issues and keep things moving forward.
You\'ll also handle day-to-day responsibilities and unexpected challenges whilst remaining calm, resourceful and focused on delivering results.
Other duties will include:
- managing inbound enquiries for equipment hire via phone and email
- accurately processing hire orders and ensuring all details are captured correctly via our Syrinx system
- coordinating closely with customers to guarantee timely deliveries and collections
- providing clear, friendly and professional responses to customer queries
- maintaining up-to-date records and supporting the smooth running of daily operations.
What you\'ll need
You\'ll bring excellent organisational and time management skills, supported by previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the hire or plant sector.
You\'ll also have:
- exceptional customer service and communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships and deliver a positive experience at every interaction
- the ability to multitask effectively and stay composed under pressure, even when handling competing priorities or tight deadlines
- a proactive, hands-on approach, with the drive to take initiative, solve problems and ensure tasks are completed to a high standard.
