We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Package Manager to join our Delivery team for a landmark music and live entertainment arena.

This high-profile project involves complex structural, façade, and MEP packages, with unique acoustic requirements.You will be a detailed-orientated professional with a proven track record in large-scale public or entertainment venues.

Your core responsibility will be to manage specific construction packages from procurement through to handover, ensuring seamless integration with the wider programme, whilst maintaining the highest standard of safety, quality, and performance.

What you\’ll do

Reporting to the Project Manager, your core roles and responsibilities will include:

  • managing assigned work packages, such as structural steel, RC works, façade and fit-out, across the full project lifecycle
  • developing robust scope of works for subcontractors and consultants, ensuring deliverables are met
  • leading the procurement process for assigned packages by selecting a contractor that will offer optimal value for scope, programme, quality, and cost
  • coordinating with specialist subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams, ensuring timely and compliant delivery
  • monitoring programme milestones, and managing risks and interfaces between packages
  • ensuring compliance with acoustic, fire, and crowd safety regulations specific to entertainment venues
  • collaborating with design and technical teams to resolve construction challenges ensuring buildability
  • interfacing with the Design Manager, Site Management and Commercial Management, to contribute to the successful delivery of the packages on-site for the arena project
  • liaising with client representatives, venue operators, and local authorities as required.

What you\’ll need

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • experience of managing packages on large-scale projects, preferably with some experience in delivery a public venue
  • an understanding of acoustic and structural requirements for live entertainment spaces
  • familiarity for NEC or JCT contracts and UK building regulations
  • a minimum HNC on Construction Management, Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
  • proficiency in construction software tools, such as Asta, Viewpoint, Revitso and Fieldview
  • communication, planning and stakeholder management skills.
