We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join our proactive and driven team where you will be responsible for collecting payments and negotiating repayment plans.
What you'll do
- You will make proactive outbound contact to customers via telephone and email to discuss and agree solutions that suit both the customer and our business.
- You will ensure a clear position of debt and next steps are provided to the customer and resolve reconciliation and payment issues, as well as taking inbound calls, creating statements, allocating payments and issuing copy bills.
- You will also be responsible for keeping customer details and contact details up to date.
Our standard hours are Monday to Friday and this role is 37 hours per week.
What you'll need
- You are professional, patient and are confident when making decisions.
- You are a great communicator, are assertive, build and maintain relationships well and have excellent attention to detail.
- You have experience in driving resolution of internal issues that delay payment with internal stakeholders.
- With the mix of both inbound and outbound calls in this role, you will have experience in collecting commercial debt and experience of working with accounting software.
- Experience using Agresso would be an advantage but not essential.
