The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
Joining our Developer Services team, you will:
- liaise with housing developers as a central point of contact for drainage and water supply issues on all aspects of new development
- interact with local councils, the public and other external stakeholders
- work within our Development Engineering team, which covers the northern and western areas of our region
- primarily be involved with inspecting constructed works and reviewing surveys to ensure that any changes to our existing systems are constructed in accordance with industry standards
- be involved in processing existing applications as well as giving developers advice and guidance on constructed works.
You will be joining a busy team, where we support one another and work closely to make sure our customers are satisfied. Therefore, you will need to be able to stay organised and effective under pressure, prioritising workloads to meet our high standards of service. You will also:
- need an understanding of drainage design, operation and construction practices
- have experience testing and inspecting works on active building sites, although we donβt need you to be a qualified site engineer
- visit customers and sites, so you must have customer service experience and the ability to deal with a wide range of customers efficiently and professionally
- assess development submissions and provide guidance by telephone, letter and e-mail, so you must have good written and verbal communication skills and be computer literate.
Due to the nature of this role and the requirement to travel to and from sites, it is essential that you hold a valid driving licence.
