We are seeking a reliable and skilled individual to manage deliveries from our Mere facility to various water treatment centres across the region. This role involves working closely with our dedicated team of production technicians to support the handling, processing, and changeover of essential materials. If you possess a strong track record in logistics and a commitment to excellence, we encourage you to apply.

We are accepting applications from individuals based in a range of areas including; Trowbridge, Shaftesbury, Warminster, Frome and Wincanton.

What you\’ll do

Regularly coordinating with internal teams, you will need to liaise with Production Managers to ensure any issues are identified and resolved quickly.You will also:

  • provide training and additional support to Production Technicians for handling chlorine and Sulphur dioxide (changing cylinders)
  • liaise with the regional technician, ensuring procedures are followed and completed to a high standard
  • record keeping
  • maintain delivery records of chemicals, including chlorine and sulphur dioxide
  • provide monthly details to finance for internal costing
  • take ownership of managing and maintaining our central stocks.

Other key elements of the role are:

  • liaison with transport
  • management of ADR records
  • maintaining records of driver hours
  • vehicle checks
  • being the point of contact with pack chlorine and BOC (chlorine and sulphur dioxide).

What you\’ll need

  • Full clean, driving licence including Category C1 (7.5 tonne vehicle).
  • ADR Driver Training Certificate.
  • Operational and water supply process experience.
  • Effective planning and prioritisation skills.
  • Proactive, driven and able to work on own initiative.
  • Experience providing feedback in an informal and formal setting.
  • Communication skills.
  • To hold a Digital Drivers Card.
  • A Driver Qualification Card.
  • An up-to-date driver CPC hours.
