Are you a motivated person looking for a role where you can make a real difference in improving the local environment? Are you a natural collaborator who can build teams across organisations? Can you bring together evidence, funding, and people to support projects that enhance and protect the rivers, streams, and the wider Bristol Avon catchment? If so, we have a great opportunity to join our team as the Bristol Avon Catchment Partnership Co-ordinator.

What you'll do

You will lead the Bristol Avon Catchment Partnership and work with a wide range of stakeholders, including local councils, regulators, charities and community groups. Together, you will deliver long-term benefits for people and nature across the rural and urban Bristol Avon catchments. In this role, you will implement and update the Partnership's Catchment Action Plan, working with partners to identify, develop, and deliver projects that address the challenges faced by the area's rivers and wider catchments. You will have a key role in unlocking funding and other resources for delivery. You will also develop a communications strategy that celebrates our successes and inspires others to get involved. You will line manage the Catchment Partnership Officer and mentor the Catchment Partnerships Apprentice, leading a team that provides a range of expertise to external partners and Wessex Water colleagues. You will liaise closely with the Independent Chair of the Catchment Partnership's Steering Group. With several large projects in delivery and development, this is an exciting time to join the BACP team, to work with our partners to achieve positive change in our river catchments.
