We're looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join our growing MEP team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex engineering projects, supporting delivery from initial design through to site implementation, testing and commissioning.

Working alongside experienced engineers and project teams, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions, developing technical expertise, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

What you'll do

  • Support the delivery of mechanical and electrical engineering projects across all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare, check and review engineering calculations, designs and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate and review BIM models and design drawings.
  • Assist with the preparation of specifications, proposals, reports and tender documentation.
  • Support project costing activities, tender evaluations and contract administration.
  • Monitor project progress and assist with site supervision, testing and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure installations are delivered in accordance with approved designs, quality standards and project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve engineering challenges and deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) documentation.
  • What you'll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Engineering experience within a professional environment.
  • IET membership or registration, or a willingness to work towards professional accreditation.
  • Knowledge of engineering design principles and industry standards.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with Auto CAD and BIM software.
  • Understanding of project delivery and site-based engineering activities.
  • Exposure to engineering software such as Dialux, Heat Load Calculation, Pipe Sizer or Duct Sizer would be advantageous.
  • Interest or experience within Data Centre projects would be beneficial.
