Are you a positive individual with excellent organisational, time management and numerical skills? Do you love making sense of numbers, looking for trends and spotting errors or anomalies? If so, we have a great opportunity for you as an entry-level Data Administrator.
What you'll do
- You will be joining a growing team responsible for collating, reviewing, cleaning, interpreting and distributing survey data received from circa 1000 sewer asset surveys across our sewerage network.
- You’ll also work with data from other sources as necessary.
- The primary data which you’ll work on daily comes from various types of surveys requested by departments across the business.
- The data also helps us review and improve how our wastewater network operates.
- You will also help contribute to publishing this data for customers.
- You will participate in reviewing the data, providing findings to stakeholders, and helping them understand the output for quicker, more efficient decision-making.
- As part of the team, you will contribute to preparing data for presentations, reports, and responses to regular and ad hoc queries from a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- You will be happy to work independently to make sense of survey data and various data exports to support the team in meeting the needs of regulators, customers and stakeholders.
What you'll need
- To succeed in this role, you will be good at working with numbers and data management with good communication, geographical skills and teamworking skills.
- You will also have good attention to detail and competent using Microsoft Office software, especially Excel.
- Knowledge about using Dynamics 365 is desirable but not essential.
- While it is desirable for you to have knowledge of wastewater networks, this is not essential.
- You will need to be someone who is willing to work both independently and as part of a team.
- You will be adaptable and have the ability to stay on top of new features and the willingness to keep up to date with market trends and new features that may be beneficial for our business.
