As a Reporting Analyst in our Performance Reporting and Analytics team, you’ll transform complex data into clear insights that drive real business impact. Working across Engineering and Asset Management, Operations, Strategy and Regulation and wider teams, you’ll help people understand performance, identify opportunities, and make better decisions. You’ll also play a key role in building robust, well-governed reporting in a complex, regulated environment, ensuring outputs are accurate and support the identification of efficiencies and improvements across the business.
You will:
- design, build and improve dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI or QlikView
- translate business questions into clear, practical reporting solutions
- analyse complex datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- deliver regular reporting and provide ad hoc analysis and data support
- work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and shape outputs that add value
- contribute to improving data quality, reporting processes and automation
- promote effective use of data and reporting across the business
- support the Performance Reporting and Analytics Manager and cover key meetings when needed.
We’re looking for someone who is curious, analytical and comfortable working with both data and people. You will:
- have experience working with large datasets and BI tools
- be able to communicate complex insights clearly to a range of audiences
- be able to prioritise effectively and manage competing stakeholder needs
- bring strong Excel and data analysis skills
- have a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- have the ability to translate data into meaningful insight.
