In this key role, you will support the IT Supplier Management team and wider business by processing and analysing Technology invoices, processing payments, raising queries and disputes with suppliers, and developing reports to support financial business decisions with data‑backed analytics. You will be the first point of contact for the business on all Technology billing queries, liaising with Technology teams and the wider group to help identify cost‑saving opportunities by analysing invoices and the asset database. This is a 6‑month fixed‑term contract.
What you'll do
- Review Technology invoices and ensure suppliers have applied the correct charges.
- Raise disputes with suppliers to resolve queries when invoices have discrepancies.
- Update key financial reports on savings and spending.
- Liaise with the finance department surrounding billing issues and process improvements.
- Interrogate and process invoices promptly, allocate the charges and ensure all Technology invoices are paid within the specified timeframes.
- Maintain and create reports on ongoing and future spends.
- Be involved in maintaining a database that supports recharging of communications lines (4500), mobile devices (5000), SIM cards (11000) and Laptops (4500).
What you'll need
- Experience within a financial or billing working environment would be advantageous.
- Excellent O365 skills, particularly in the use of Excel.
