We have an exciting new opportunity for you to join YTL Construction UK and work on one of the largest and most exciting private regeneration projects in the UK, as a MEP Project Manager. We are currently transforming the historic former Filton Airfield – the birthplace of Concorde and supersonic travel – into a thriving new neighbourhood for Bristol, known as Brabazon.
What you’ll do
Reporting into the Senior MEP Manager:
- You will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) services across the lifecycle of the project.
- You will be fully involved in feasibility and design through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover to the building operator.
- You will have experience of MEP engineering services, project leadership, and managing risk.
- You will encourage collaboration and achieve MEP delivery across the projects.
Your core roles and responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the entire end‑to‑end MEP design process from RIBA Stage 0 (Strategic Definition) to Stage 3 (Spatial Coordination).
- Assisting and leading the MEP design process from RIBA Stage 4 onwards, to handover.
- Reviewing MEP consultant designs to ensure technical accuracy, compliance with UK Building Regulations, CIBSE Standards, BSRIA guidelines, and integration with architectural.
