What you’ll do
- the operation and maintenance of conventional sewage treatment plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards
- running advanced wastewater treatment and sludge process plants
- ensuring compliance with company policy, processes and procedures
- ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all colleagues, the public and yourself at all times
- working outside of normal working hours, including evenings and weekends
What you’ll need
- experience working unsupervised in an industrial or process plant
- mechanical experience would be desirable
- Confined spaces training will be provided; you will need to be eligible to work in confined spaces
- suitable to wear appropriate breathing apparatus and navigate tight spaces
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, maths, and a technical subject
- happy working outside in all conditions
- valid driving licence, ideally with category BE
- flexible in your approach to work
