We are looking for a proactive and committed Property Officer / Property Executive to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of a shopping complex. This role involves ensuring that all building systems are running efficiently, tenants' needs are addressed promptly, and the property is maintained to high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify defects, irregularities, or maintenance issues and report findings to the Complex Manager.
- Supervise and coordinate technicians to carry out minor repairs, maintenance, and replacements efficiently.
- Serve as the liaison officer for all M&E systems, including CCTV, ACMV, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, lift systems and other building services.
- Engage with tenants and contractors to address and resolve maintenance issues within agreed timelines.
- Sourcing for contractors for quotations, compare and evaluate.
- Issue and certify Work/Purchase Orders with accuracy and compliance to internal processes.
- Coordinate ad hoc jobs and respond to special tenant requests with minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain effective communication with tenants, promptly addressing their feedback and concerns.
- Assisting the Complex Manager in MCST's Council Meetings and AGM.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Complex Manager or Management to support smooth operations.
Requirements
- Certification in Building Services, Facilities Management, or related discipline.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in property/facilities management (retail/commercial environment preferred).
- Knowledge of M&E systems and building operations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently or in a team.
